There's several latest updates, I mean, there are several new software versions depending on your specific unit, for example in Japan there are up to 4 latest updates versions that are new but each of them are for different Ariya's.

Problem solved: it was indeed the Rolec wall charger which had its central control unit replaced by Rolec a week ago. The whole set up works fine now with the charger being controlled by the car’s timer. It is strange that it continued to work well on the Leaf and not on the Ariya before the brain ...
