Re: Extortionate cost of renewing Nissan Connect services
Well, the answer is, they are not listening! In fact, they are part of an industry that is collectively moving in that direction. I got caught out because I didn't ask. The reason for that is that our last few cars from JLR come with 3 years of all but the high cost tracker surveillance working. I ...

Re: Nissan Connect Live Maps and Data
As I understand it, the remote services option does not include preconditioning the car - that is in Intelligent Route Planning! Doesn’t seem that intelligent to me - but there you go!! The more worrying thing is that the subscription for that has gone up to £2.99/month from £1.99!!!! That’s a 33% ...

Re: SatNav Navigation
And Google Maps has a mute button in the display. I believe future Nissan's/Honda will run Android natively so Google maps will be the default sat nav. Tells you all you need to know.

Re: Anyone know the charging algorithms?
It also depends on the SOC. Once you are over 50% when charging you are going to see much slower speeds. 60 kW at 50% is about right.

Re: New Ariya software update
Great! As above I have the new car firmware, no OTA map update available but 2024.06 available by USB. I just ran the map update and installed 2024.06 in the car. This successfully installed UK South map version 22219_0_9 over my 22219_0_5. For those who have done this type of update before, there ...

Re: New Ariya software update
Had the update Tuesday. Wireless Android Auto still not working. I have been using a BT dongle so wonder if I have to remove this first. Any ideas? Does anyone who has had the update know if the SOC on arrival works with Google Maps? I never used on board navigation as it was so poor compared to Goo...

Re: New Ariya Charging Problems (type 2)
Do you know someone with a a single phase wallbox you can try it on, or a similar one in Public? This is the first time I have heard of a problem with an Ariya charging so the Rolec would be where my suspicion would lie, hence the suggestion to try another one. Might be an idea to ask your local dea...
