due to personnel reasons i had to sell my ariya but before doing so i took out the drv-a601w dashcam. its a genuine nissan/kenwood front and rear. i tried to get the connecting cable that runs from front to rear but couldn't get it out so i had to cut at both ends...anyone with basic tech knowledge ...

why would you say that the advance does not have the function Woody..are you a nissan tech or do you just 'think' you know..

mine is a feb 2023 advance and the badge/logo does have the pins in the socket.....i tapped into the ignition feed in the box shown in craigs pictures and the logo lights up..

@sahin, i'd double and treble check he fuse box wiring cos i cant think why you're getting errors..
also which method did you use, mine or craigs?

so do you have on the back of the nissan logo a socket with a plug/cable in it ?

if you do then i'd double check your wiring in the fuse box

possibly lucky yes..i thought i would get charged because i had to activate the charge with he electroverse card...

in calais it cost .50 cents so not a bad price ..

i used the normal charger...swiped my electroverse card to authorise the charge and that was it..

why did you use the tesla charger ?

mine does that ..gets very hot but luckily i dont have to use the wireless charger so its a problem for me..
i see a recall coming for this..

theres a recall for that problem...i had mine done recently..
