Instrument display defaults to KPH from MPH

Latest software blip on 72 reg Ariya.

Whilst driving instrument display changes to metric measurements .

Not very helpful on Smart motorway with variable speed limits but good for mental arithmetic !

Dealer advised same issue on new Qashqai

No software fix is available as yet

My ariya has done this a couple of times.last one on the 8/4 drove into the car park on miles came out in kms.driving in a 30 limit hud said 50 had to pull over to change in settings.nothing unusual for an ariya

We had warning lights have appear few times from new, but not recently again, we guess the car was learning itself or something along those lines. Although we contacted the Dealer, they were not quite sure why they appeared.

However, we suspect there may be software issues: some settings get reset by themselves, such as the clock changed from 24h to 12hr; radio was not playing despite picking up FM and DAB; steering assist got disabled itself; stopped charging shortly after plugging in and disabling the charging timer.

Updates show as up-to-date, but is there a way of de-bugging the system and checking for faults?

Some of this behavior happened on my unit a while ago, but eventually they dissappear by themselves, not sure why.

Just had this twice in two days. Changes from imperial unit to metric randomly and then back again.

Happened to me yesterday for the 2nd time. Can't remember how I changed it back the 1st time. Looks like reading through the 500 page manual AGAIN

If I remember correctly you can't change that setting, don't know if it is set by itself due to GPS location or via dealer configuration through diagnostics port.

On the Nissan Qashqai this the display will reset from MPH to KPH each time you turn the car on. This happens if you do not have a profile set up for the key, each key can have a unique profile. Not sure if this is the same for Aryia
