Just spoke to Nissan Customer Services. The agent I spoke to said mine was the second call he'd taken on his shift and was the second about this issue. The first person had said it started working while he was on the call but I said mine hasn't worked for nearly 24 hours. He started suggesting re-installing the app and waiting 24 hours for it to catch up, but I pointed out that the car symbol on the infotainment system has a line through it and also there are people on forums and social media reporting the same issue. He changed his tune somewhat then, took my details and said he'd escalate it.

If you're having this issue and are able to spare a few minutes to call Nissan Customer support on 0330 123 1231 then it'll help put a rocket up them... ;)

Hi -I just joined the forum after looking on Xformallyknownastwitter and saw a few people have had issues.

I barely used my car yesterday so didn't notice any issues but I think it was ok. Even this morning I could see my car charging on the app as normal. Then about an hour ago the app bricked out with a "We're having a tune-up!" announcement.

So in summary, it looks like they have locked all users out of the app, not just the ones experiencing problems?

I really like my Ariya, my only 2 complaints are having to press a privacy validation message on every start-up and the disappointing app experience (in particular, heating windows in winter isn't available, which seems crazy)

Thanks all!

Same problem here (UK), app syncing seemed to freeze mid-way through a charge on Wednesday night. I see the app is being updated now so I hope that fixes things.

I see the car icon with diagonal line on the screen so car has no connection to Nissan server. I noticed the green LED on the SOS phone is not lit anymore. I tried making a SOS call and it worked but no LEDs.

Now the app says it is in maintenance until 17. Aug 13:30

Has anyone had charging issues whilst this issue has been ongoing?

I charge via a Zappi controlled by Intelligent Octopus Go, and when attempting a boost charge yesterday it wouldn’t start the charge. The Zappi seemed to suggest that the Ariya was fully charged despite only being at around 70%.

I tried charging yesterday while this problem was live. I have the same car and charger (Ariya and Zappi). I'm on tracker tariff and set my charge manually so everything worked. I just had to guess what the percentage would get to when it was time to take it off charge. I know I get about 12% an hour so based my maths on that.

It's obviously a huge problem for them. Hopefully it'll be fixed before 11.30 on Saturday - that will be more than 48 hours since the issue started!
