Hi
Looking a purchasing my 1st EV.
So far we shortlisted the Ariya.
Just wondering 🤔 any suggestions.
Is the eforce worth the extra money??
What spec can anyone recommend that they have??
Reading lots of reviews on the Ariya but thought this forum would help me decided.

Thanks

Summing up my own experience - great car, atrocious software! (see the majority of responses on this forum for confirmation).

I've had my Ariya Advance Eforce for a month now I previously had a Polestar 2 for 3 years and then drove an ICE for 8 months. I missed driving an EV hence I went for the Ariya, it all depends what you want from a car, it's early days for me I find the Ariya ok but its just a bit dull compared to the Polestar 2.

Have you thought about leasing instead of purchase? I got a really cheap 2 year deal on the Ariya. I would be interested to know what other cars are on your shortlist.

I would endorse the leasing comment on the Eforce, some astonishing deals.

Looking at salary sacrifice at present. Also looking at Lexus NX base model or Nissan Ariya top spec and it’s working out same price. Just really like the look of the Nissan. Feedback is it’s a bit boring to drive !!!

I would recommend you to have a test drive first, haven't tried the Lexus NX myself but I find the Ariya pretty enjoying to drive.

I would recommend the e-4orce only if you want the extra acceleration (5 and a half secs instead of 7 and a half secs) and/or you are going to drive through slippery places like snow or loose terrain, although choosing the e-4orce also means sacrificing the 2nd floor compartment on the trunk, depends if you value cargo space.

I currently have the 87kWh Evolve non e-4orce, I wanted the 4WD one but in Spain that meant to me sacrificing a 4500€ federal rebate and an additional 2800€ pre-launch rebate from Nissan for my specific configuration, so it was a no brainer to me to not get the e-4orce since I only wanted it for the sake of performance.

Very happy with it personally.
