follow the instructions from craig1527 pictures..

open the IPDM box and find the 'patch' wire.

i cut the red and spliced it into the light blue wire..

Apparently this might now be legal in the UK. I watch a you tube video about a vauxhall grandland ev which is coming soon. And the presenter mentioned it will legal in the UK as this car comes with enabled.

i saw a bmw in london recently and the whole grille surround was lit up so if thats ok then the nissan logo should be as well..

Just adding some info to this post.
I tried the mod on my 24 plate, I didn't work so I left it.
I recently found out inadvertently that the original badge has the pins missing from the socket I replaced my badge due to parking slightly too close to my garage door and scratched it when closing it
The new badge has the pins and the mod works.
So it looks like 2024 cars may have the functionality physically removed from the badge and I got lucky with the new one.
