a question about home charging

is it possible to have a remote on/off switch that the 13amp ev charger plugs into so i can remotely switch the power to the charger on and off..

something like a wifi switch or one of these plug in socket remotes

an educated guess tells me the the current/amperage might be to much for these units .

thoughts?

If you would be using the car's EVSE of 2kW or a dedicated charger limited at 13A a typical smart home switch appliance that usually do up to 16A would do fine if it's not a cheap ass one.
