I am trying to figure that out. Look at the Dutch facebook page Nissan Ariya gebruikers groep NL/BE
There is indeed a new software update for the maps.
1- USB stick into the ariya, update to usb stick
2- Use nissan update map tool, then the maps are availible
3- Download maps or all maps
4 - plug in usb in Ariya - instal from usb stick
5 - Car must be on, it can even update while driving process for all the maps takes about 40 minutes
6 - Done ariya says all maps are updated, and you're ready to go
Over The OTA is what nissan says it will do, but that is just a dream it is never going to happen !
Nissan map OTA updates DO exist, don't spread misinformation.

Latest map OTA update is happening right now, which for the Ariya in Europe is the first one.
Latest software OTA update was in May 2023 for the Ariya in Europe.
