I've just spotted a BBC story that reports Nissan is laying-off thousands of staff around the world and "slashes global production to tackle a drop in sales in China and the US".
More reasons why buying a Nissan is probably not a good idea, and not surprisingly the report also states that Nissan did not respond to a request from BBC News for details on where the job cuts will be made... anyone who has ever tried to get a response from Nissan Motor GB will already be aware that it doesn't respond to very much at all.
