Just about to get an Ariya 87 kW Advance.
Was not my first choice but deal was too good to ignore. Will be moving from a Petrol XC60. Wife has an iD.3 which has been a joy to drive (as a brisk RWD small car)

Just wondering if Nissan has pushed and software updates to the car since release and what did they fix/improve?

Yeh, 2 I can recollect. Maybe a third, mainly dealer updates. Nissan don't seem to on point with side of things. No idea really what the other updates did. It's no Tesla in that department.

Several software updates have been pushed since release, one of them is a dealer only one which is to reduce the sensibility of the current leak security system to the electric motor, which was producing some false positives on some units by being a bit too careful and cutting motor power by just detecting slight physical variation on the motor wear and tear through normal use.

Aside from that the rest of software updates have been delivered through OTA as follows:

31/08/2022 various fixes and improvements for various vehicle systems
14/09/2022 fix for some crashes on the 4G communication module
13/04/2023 fix for a sudden blackout issue on the instrument cluster display while driving, due to a bug of RAM memory leak, this affects only 709 Ariya units and only those will receive it
11/05/2023 various fixes and performance improvements for the infotainment system, some menus are tweaked too
12/03/2024 improvements for the HVAC system, better auto air recirculation/outside air management and better usability of voice commands to adjust the HVAC.

Must have missed some of those updates. Especially the HVAC one. Maybe the dealer did it. Never had it via OTA.

New dealer only DC-DC converter firmware update to fix some bugs on the autodiagnostic program applied on my Ariya too.
