The Nissan engineer also said they’ve had with another customer the alarm going off due to trapped moth! ! It used to hide away during the day and then flit around at night setting the alarm off!!

Well of course it could be a sensor, did they do diagnostics to find that? All I know is the cure for most of us was a software update at the dealer, no OTA. Might be worth insisting the car leaves them with the very latest regardless. Someone on here might have the version code. If so check it against yours before and when you pick it up.

Update on previous post on this topic...
Due to a number of issues internally (alarm) and external rear/side sensors error warning etc. The ultrasonic kit has been replaced (under warranty) so far so good.

Got the sensor replaced and have reactivated the alarm - seems to be working ok so far. I left the sun roof open and locked up (er should it let you do that) but the breeze or maybe an insect set the alarm off within minutes. I closed the sunroof then it was ok again. Let’s see if it does not activate providing it’s closed up ok…

Nissan Liverpool replaced the sensor & I enabled the interior sensors again. No problems now except one time I left the window & roof open that let me set the alarm but it went of 2 mins later

Are you sure that you have not, maybe inadvertently, pressed the open car on the fob button for about 5 seconds this opens all the windows and sunroof if you have one.
