The Ariya in any guise isn't lauded for its efficiency, not many 2 tonne SUV's are, but it can have its moments. Today has been a warm (circa 17-18c) in these ere parts. I've just completed a 92 mile round trip where I averaged 31 mph, mostly rural but with a bit of dual carriageway and the car reckons I have achieved a 4.5 m/kWh efficiency level.
GOM currently shows an SOC of 51% and a range left of 183 miles (87 kWh battery). An unlikely 358 miles of total range. My all time average over 19.5 months and 18,203 miles is 3.5 so averaging almost 305 miles across the year. I have to say I'm really pleased with that. I'm sure there are members here that can show a more frugal return and some a more dreadful one . What have you been getting?
Efficiency
I don't like e-pedal. I feel that it spoils the whole driving dynamic of the car and much prefer to drive in "B". E-pedal is for people who can't control acceleration and retardation themselves as it has no effect on efficiency per se. That trip just happened to be yesterday after I read the post. Often, I manage better than that if the temperature is 15C or higher. In case someone wonders about the 8.9 efficiency since start, I dropped off a mate about a mile from home and there is an elevation change to my house.
Yesterday during my long trip on Spain peninsula I reached 4.8 miles per kWh on a 6 hour driving session for 49mph average speed, did more than 350 miles per charge, something like 378 miles or so I was for one charge, this is all highway cruising at 56mph with ProPilot.
I'm incredibly impressed honestly, that was my best case scenario but on a dialy basis usually I'm getting 3.8 for 330 miles or so.

That is really impressive. I doubt I will ever get that level of efficiency in the UK.
