Hi!
As mentioned on a few other post our original tyres (Dunlop Sport Maxx SP 050's) always felt a bit slippy leading to lower confidence driving in wetter conditions.
These are now due to be replace after 20 000 miles and are considering the following. We are going to replace all four tyres at the same time and were primary looking for "A's"
- Hankook iON Evo SUV Sound Absorber
235/55 R19 Y (105)
A, A, 69db
£166.72 per wheel fitted.
- Continental Eco Contact 6
235/55 R19 V (105)
A, A, 72db
£161.44 per wheel fitted.
- Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV
235/55 R19 Y (101)
A, A, 70db
£157.67 per wheel fitted.
I'm gravitating towards the Continentals due to it being more widley reviewed, but wanted to ask here if anyone had any experiences or recommendations? - Thanks !
Opinions on these tyres?
Thanks Nerdy!
I've taken a look and noticed that the Michelin Cross Climate are an All season "B" rated for Wet grip. Thats the same Wet grip rating as the Dunlop 050's we currently have on.
When comparing tyres are "B All season" considered to have a higher performance or are held in better regard than a "A Summer tyre"?
Apologies if this is obvious, just want to make sure I'm comparing apple to apples! (Or tyres ) - Thanks!

I have the 20" wheels and had the Hankook ion Evo SUV's fitted. 1500 miles in, and very happy, but that is still early days.
