What dash cam and wired kit did you opt for?

It the nextbase 620gw and there own hardwire kit. However had to buy another smaller kit with 4 adaptors one of which caters for the micro2 fuse. When I get a moment I will fit it.

I went for a Vantrue E2 with the optional hardwire kit and CPL filter. Really easy to hardwire but needs an additional micro 2 adapter for the yellow ACC wire. One comes with the kit for the red 12V but the ACC comes prewired with a mini fuse so had to cut it off and crimp a micro splitter.
Took me longer to find the fuse panel since it's not mentioned n the manual.

Have you used a different fuse panel than the one I posted earlier?

Just got a Viofo A129 Pro Duo. Still waiting for the hardwire kit and some Micro 2 blade fuses before hardwiring it in but I used the supplied USB cable and cigarette lighter socket plug to see how routing the cables was going to be, turns out very easy!

Stupid question, but how do I actually open the fuse cover? I was pulling on it but it wasn't budging at the top and I didn't want to break it. And any suggestion on which fuses to use?

I just pulled it from the bottom I believe, doesn't take much effort.

Look at previous post for the picture of the fuze box. Pull down and out from the bottom.

It won't discharge the 12V battery, the 12V management system will top up the 12V battery from time to time like the Leaf does so you should be OK.
