Proud owner of Ariya Evolve for a week now. Great car, however. Every time I switch on, I get the below, 'connected services' message. In order to clear the screen, I have to select either the Decline or OK option before I can do anything else. Anybody got any thoughts on how to get rid of this message?

Same here. Its one of those covering your Ar*e messages. Not seen anyway of turning it of yet. Enjoying car though.

There is no way to disable it. All cars with any form of automation feature this. I have a friend with a Honda Hybrid several years old, does the same thing, as did my 2018 Leaf and my current 2011 Leaf. And so do all other EVs I have driven. Yes, it's a disclaimer in case you activate TotallyTrustyAutoDrive(tm), hop in the back seat, and have a snooze - at 70mph on the M25. ;)

That permission screen is only for European models, due to some regulations for protecting citizens here. Is somewhat annoying although I've driven a Nissan Leaf in which if you don't touch nothing after 2 minutes or so dissappears, and I think it's like if you answered "no accept".

I wonder if you will be able to turn this off with Carley and an OBD adaptor when they create the software for car as it's so new.

Might even be able to turn the Nissan logo on to.

Stockholm calling. I also find this consistently displayed message an annoyance.
In my previous car, a Hyundai Kona Electric from 2020, the message didn't show up anymore, at least for a couple of weeks or months, after I had choosen OK.

My Volvo didn't have any such pesky messages or a disappearing camera view straight after engaging drive from reverse.

Small things, but contributing to the list why I wouldn't be replacing the Ariya with another Nissan when my 2 year lease ends.

(Another one is how the rear wiper only wipes ¾ of the screen)

At least the Ariya has a rear wiper, a lot of their rivals don't have one.

Found you can turn the sound off on the welcome message it’s hidden in the vehicle settings via the options accessed on left hand section of steering wheel scroll around and you will find it. Also you can start the car moving pretty quick by just putting it in gear while the car is faffing around in start up you don’t have to wait. That way you hardly notice the slow start up screen
