Good afternoon all.

Trying to find out what the average waiting time is for the Ariya to ariive in the UK, ordered a 178kW Advance 87kWh 22kWCh 5dr Auto [Sky/BoseTech] in Aurora Green. The leasing company has given a estimated delivery date of October 31st 2024. Is this normal?

I waited 7 months also with leasing company but looks like waiting times have come down. Double check what the lease company has in UK stock maybe they have something close to your spec. Production is in Japan so build, importation & UK registration takes time if they are making to your spec rather than you taking from stock

Thanks Ian, looks like 4 months wait is about right if they are buidling to spec and not in stock, think i get a build and delvery notification via Arval who are the leasing company.

Ask them if or when they expect to receive the Vehicle Identification Number or VIN. That seems to be key milestone to get the UK side of the importation started.

You only get VIN once car is built of course. Prior to that you get a build slot. Actual build takes about 1-2 weeks.

We ordered a 87KWH e-4orce from a Leasing Company 2 weeks ago, got a good deal (£364pm over 3 years @10K miles pa inc Pearl paint) and it is being delivered in 2 weeks. The car was in stock, so we were unable to spec it.
