This is strange and despite reporting it to Nissan twice I’m yet to receive a response.

I wrote to Nissan over the same issue RamblyRunner. I have no option to buy Maps and Data. No answer yet.
Neither of you will get any answer. Nissan Motor GB Limited never responds to any enquiries from customers... I've sent them numerous complaints since buying a new Ariya in October 2023 and never received any response or acknowledgement whatsoever, not even to the fact that they repeatedly tried (unsuccessfully) to debit my bank card following cancellation of my NissanConnect subscription, nor in respect of the Ariya (with fewer than 4,000 miles on the odometer) breaking down whilst we were returning home from a short break in Wales, and neither the RAC nor our local Nissan Service Centre could find out why.
After spending £55,000 on a new car you'd expect at least some customer service and more than 12 months of NissanConnect services, but no. We're replacing the "lemon" Nissan Ariya with a Volvo EX40 because my wife will no longer drive it: she's lost confidence in it in case it breaks down again when she's alone and far from home.

Hi all, had first service done yesterday and nothing reported, on way home charged up enough to see me until sat, anyway this morning (10/01/25) the map is stuck and showing car at home when wife is clearly at work 6 miles away, tried switching everything off/on but stays same. When we got home last night it should have been 78 miles not 104. Also in Nissan store it is showing some items as extended, my subscription is not due till end of January 25, I’ve sent them message but it’s probably Monday I’ll get reply, anyone any ideas at all
Further to my last, just rang Nissan and got through to connect services who say they been experiencing problems with connect services and should resolve when they work through them, literally as I was speaking to the lady it changed to normal
Mines not working. It was minus 8 this morning with me really needed to pre warm cabin. Just an error message plus it is not updating Battery SOC!
USELESS and the nerve to charge for it

I can see everything, the fan icon on main screen, and all items on the Nissan Store, which are 9 items.
Thanks for the info. I have 8 items in the Store (Maps and Live Data being the missing one).

I’m sorry to hear you have the same issue, however from a purely selfish viewpoint I’m glad I’m not the only one. I’ll update here if I get a reply (they’ve gone quiet on me now for several days) and if you do the same if you hear anything it’ll be interesting to see what happens next!
Something has happened overnight. I received an automated email from Nissan indicating that subscriptions have been activated to Intelligent Route Planner, Smart Alerts and Maps and Live Data. In the app the first two are showing an expiry of 12/7/25. Perhaps they’ve given me the extra services for 6 months by way of compensation? Perhaps they’ll email later to tell me.
If they have it’s nice of them, but I don’t use those services so it makes no difference to me really.
As for Maps and Live Data. It’s back (later I’ll see if the weather is now showing information in my car on the infotainment system). However most importantly they haven’t fixed the main problem which is that Maps and Live Data doesn’t have an expiry date (just permanently shows “Updating”) and so will just run out (presumably in July) and then I’ll be back to square one.
